  • If mats are left on a floor that receives a good deal of direct sunlight, wood floors can develop a variation in color or tone. Floors that do not receive large amounts of sunlight should not be affected by the presence of mats or throw rugs. If placed at entrances as a step off or step on option mats and area rugs can in fact serve to protect against potential scratches from grit brought in by foot traffic.

  • Love our new floor of maple, can mats be left on floors without yellowing or damaging the colour?
