First Coat is a protective Ceramic Fortified waterborne primer. A very high solid content, high build, low-VOC, NMP-free, clear sealer that boasts great open time, penetrates deep, has a fast dry time and short cure time. First Coat primer dries hard for easy abrading and keeps grain raise to a minimum. It is the perfect foundation for our waterborne finishes.
